According to the law 3842/2010 (para.3, art. 10) no transaction involving the sale of products or services whose value exceeds €1,500 can be settled in cash. Consequently, and as of 1 January 2011 Eurobank Equities Investment no longer accepts or releases payments in cash for amounts greater than €1,500 per client daily.  Such transactions can only be executed through  cheques and/or transfers to/from bank accounts.
