Are there any conditions to become a Eurobank Equities client?

Yes. You must be over 18 years old.

 

Is there a minimum deposit required to get an exchange code?

No.

 

I bank with Eurobank. Do I already have an exchange code with Eurobank Equities?

No. Eurobank Equities is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurobank SA, but they are 2 distinct legal entities.

You first need to become a Eurobank Equities client in 3 simple steps:

  1. Fill in and sign the application form.
  2. Collect the necessary supporting documents.
  3. Submit the forms and supporting documents.

Once we’ve received and processed the documents, we create your code and notify you immediately over the phone or by email.

I don’t bank with Eurobank. Can I become a Eurobank Equities client and get an exchange code?

Yes, in 3 simple steps:

  1. Fill in and sign the application form.

How can I transfer securities from another brokerage firm?

Submit a request to the brokerage firm you want to transfer securities from and also a request to us.

For Greek securities the transfer is completed within 2-3 business days. You may keep the same average purchase price.

On the exchange code

 

What is the OASIS/exchange code?

The unique identification number of your investment account, which is created once you become a customer.

 

Can I get a joint exchange code with others?

Yes. In addition to your personal exchange code, you can create a joint code with others.

In this case, all parties involved must:

  • Have a personal exchange code.
  • Sign an application to get a joint share and trading account.

To get a joint exchange code with others, contact us or directly your broker.

 

I forgot my exchange code. What should I do?

Are there any fees for negotiating / trading shares?

Yes, depending on the service. View our charges in detail.

In addition, there are charges / fees for special operations or charges from stock exchanges etc.

 

Are my investments protected?

Yes, given that:

  • Your assets (cash or shares) are held in separate accounts from the capital and assets of Eurobank Equities, as required by law. To this end, regular audits are carried out by internal and external auditors, such as Certified Auditors and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
  • Our investment services are covered by the Investment Guarantee Fund.
  • The shares listed on ATHEX are in your name in the Dematerialised Securities System and we do not use omnibus accounts.
  • The shares listed on international stock exchanges are held in special accounts with Eurobank.
  • The shares stay in your name and we do not lend them.

To carry out transactions you first need to sign the relevant agreements.

 

What types of transactions can I carry out through Eurobank Equities?

Depending on the agreement you sign, you may carry out trading transactions using:

  • You need to have the respective amount under your exchange code.
  • 2day credit. You buy shares on 2day credit, using your portfolio as collateral.
  • Margin account. You buy shares on credit, using your security portfolio as collateral.

 

How can I place orders?

From your computer or tablet

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. Choose the € icon anywhere on the platform (e.g. list, portfolio, quickquote).
  3. Submit the order.

From the Eurobank Trader App

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap on the product you are interested in.
  3. Submit the order.

Over the phone

Contact your broker and they complete your request.

 

Can I carry out transactions on international markets?

Yes. You can trade in shares in major markets in the USA, Europe, Japan and Australia.

In addition, you can trade in emerging markets, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland, Hungary and Turkey.

 

How can I carry out transactions in Asian and Australian markets?

With a phone order to your broker from the previous day.

The time difference does not allow real-time order submission through the investment platform in Asian and Australian markets.

 

Can I carry out transactions on international stock exchanges on official Greek holidays?

Yes.

The Eurobank Trader online platform is available 24/7 to track your portfolio and the markets, as well as to submit orders.

Furthermore, our brokers are available every day major markets in the USA and Europe are open.

 

Can I trade in futures in Greece?

Yes, provided you have:

  • Filled in and signed the relevant agreement.

How can I transfer money to Eurobank Equities or/and Eurobank Trader?

With:

  • RF payment code, through your e-Banking
  • Simple money transfer, via bank order (e-Banking etc.)

 

Do I have an RF payment code? How can I find it?

Yes, provided you are a Eurobank Equities client.

Find your payment code:

  • Through Eurobank Trader, under Account > Money transfer.
  • Over the phone, by asking your broker.

 

How can I transfer money to Eurobank Equities or/and Eurobank Trader with an RF payment code?

  1. Log into your bank’s e-Banking.
  2. Choose “Pay with RF code” and enter the RF code.
  3. Confirm the name of the beneficiary: Eurobank Equities.
  4. Enter the amount and accept the transaction.

 

How can I transfer money to Eurobank Equities and Eurobank Trader with a simple money transfer?

With an order from your bank (e-banking, phone banking etc.) to a Eurobank Equities bank account.

In the description field enter the exchange code and your full name. The amount will be shown on Eurobank Trader on business days and at business hours after the necessary identification checks.

 

How can I transfer money from Eurobank Equities to my bank account? 

From your computer or tablet

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. Choose > Account > Money transfer.
  3. Under “Deposit to my bank account”, enter the amount and choose bank account.
  4. Choose > Submit.

Over the phone

Give the order to your broker or to customer service.

You may carry out transfers only to bank accounts you have already registered with us and can be found in our system.

 

Can I transfer money to other people?

No.

  • Directly, if the market is open.
  • As soon as the respective market opens, if the market is closed at the time you place the order.

 

How can I ask for an account statement through Eurobank Trader?

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. From the main menu choose > Account > e-Statements.
  3. Choose the date you are interested in.
  4. Click on > Search.

 

How do I cancel a pending transaction?

From your computer or tablet

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. From the main menu choose > Account > Orders & transactions.
  3. Click on the “x” icon on the right of the order.

From the Eurobank Trader App

  1. Open the app.
  2. From the main menu choose > Portfolio > Orders.
  3. Tap on the order you want to cancel and choose cancel.

 

Can I set a price alert?

Yes.

From your computer or tablet

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. Enter the share you want in the > Quick Quote field.
  3. Choose the bell icon to set your notification.

The icon is available in different places, such as:

  • Watchlists
  • Graphs
  • Portfolio

From the Eurobank Trader App

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap on a share name.
  3. Tap on the bell on the top right part of the screen that will open with the share details.
  4. Fill in the criteria to activate the notification.
  5. Save changes.

 

How to manage price alerts

From your computer or tablet

  1. Log into eurobanktrader.gr.
  2. From the main menu choose > Purchases > Notification settings.
  3. On the right of the screen, choose:
  • The pencil icon to change the notification.
  • The “x” icon to delete the notification.

From the Eurobank Trader App

  1. Open the app.
  2. From the main menu choose > Account > Notifications.
  3. Tap on the notification you are interested in and choose “Delete” or “Modify”.

 

Is there a minimum transaction commission on Eurobank Trader?
